DEFINITION OF TERMS IN THIS CLAUSE
➡ land beside or near to the sea or ocean
➡ Abbreviation for Exclusive Economic Zone (defined in the Law of the Sea Convention).
➡ The term is used to mean that the stock is being exploited in complete harmony with management ob- jectives. Since these objectives can be biological, eco- nomic or social, the term Optimum can have different implications in terms of harvest rates.
