1. Law No. 94/01 of 20 January 1994 to lay down forestry, wildlife and fisheries regulations in Cameroon, article 18, paragraph 1:
" It shall be forbidden for anyone to dump, in national forests as well as in public waterways, in lakes and in the sea, any toxic product or industrial waste likely to destroy or modify animal and plant life.
"

" In public waterways, the total weight of fishing vessels may not exceed 10 gross registered tons.
"

" Fisheries services shall be responsible for the running of fish stations and fish breeding centres in the public waterways and coastlands.
